Well given how many times she has said she is ignoring people or threatening to stop even visiting boards because they point out the issues (some flaming but they get flamed more than they flame because they aren't kissing up) I'm wonder if the Devs even hear of half the issues. Look at the second birthday present issue. Many on every forum said they would like something other than minis yet Gaile claimed that according to their polls, that I've yet to see other than asking what people wanted, Minis had the highest rating for people wanting them. Gaile wants them but the majority don't yet we get minis and Gaile reports to the Devs what the player base wants..... so yeah.

Eh, I'll get flamed for this one since I'm not kissing up. Though funny how those that are flamming, like on the farming code in Hard Mode, are ignoring that Gaile claims there is not farming code dispite it showing that there is from all the people doing reserch on it. Blind obedience is amusing.

Laughable thread. These are complete non-issues.

The game is fine without any sunspear skills. The problem with hard mode is not the available skills, but the lack of competent players. Perhaps Anet could 'nerf' hard mode insofar as to get rid of the reduced casting time of foes and of the (rumoured) immunity to shutdown (diversion on bosses?).

The drop rate is also fine, but of course there are always people who feel they are entitled to so much more than what they received.

SR at least functions better than before. An adjustment to spirits not giving SR benefit would be more elegant, but it's hardly a game breaker.

To the poster who mentioned the -50 cesta: couldn't agree more. Farm much?

Lol, if you don't need it then don't wish for it...

I will "examine" your posts some more though. I'm sure it will all become clear. Don't make potshot posts at other classes if you're so insecure. You clearly said that you wished you had easy energy management in a dismissive way, when it's clear you that you're merely envious. Just learn to use some skills, buddy.

Hmmmm, I guess all sarcasm is lost in forums. I was merely referring to soul reaping as a viable attribute, and that many classes would gladly take it. I hope that clears things up.

SR from spirits should be killed the rest was fine. I suffer no energy problems in PvE from the nerf, but in PvP people still use spirit nests to fuel SR. Just imagine you are fightning a team like that with, say, a warrior. You can kill the spirits only to help the necro spam more debilitating hexes on you. You can kill the necro and you are severely hampered by the spirits.

If you remove a necro hex you only remove some stupid cover hex and the real stuff is still there. This means your team will have to bring all kinds of hex removal on other characters then monks, and they have to play carefully to stay clean of the endless hex flow coming in while the necro just stands there and shuts down 2 melee single handedly.

I really don't care about being shut down, but sitting for 3/4 of a match with your thumb up your ass just sucks. If people do that at least I want them to work for it.

freeked, if you aren't aware of these things that Gaile has promised, then I don't see the point in pointing out something that you don't know about.

1. Gaile has promised additional Sunspear skills for those attaining the highest ranks in the skill.
2. Gaile has stated that there is no anti-farm code in HM. Clearly, there is.
3. Gaile has also stated that they aren't planning on leaving SR in it's current state, that they understand it still needs tweaking, and that they will fix it. Months ago.

so........I guess now you know?

Finally, I really don't want any flaming in this thread, as that'll result in a lock. I just want to keep it to statements of fact (like above), and how those of us who do want these issues fixed are waiting for any word. For those of you who don't want these (Anet's self-admitted) broken aspects fixed, I urge you to go to the large discussion threads of the respective issue.

I don't think that is fair. I'll repeat my opinion: These are non-issues.

1.Yes theve said we will be getting new sunspear skills, but at no point did Gaile or Anet promise them. Anet will add them in when they think the've got them ready.

2.Perhaps there really is no Anti-farming code in Hardmode and the reduction in drops is a bug caused by bugged coding that Anet hasnt yet been able to fix. Bugs take time to fix you know especially awkward ones.

3.Anet will probably change SR again but they are waiting to see how the current new system settles down first.

I dont think any of the issues u mentioned are killing the game but i could probally name 3 issues that have/are effecting the game:

The Gradual separation of PvP and PvE gameplay, which all stems back to Anet allowing the creation of PvP only characters and the moving of most of the Arenas (which was a necessary thing with the addition of more campaigns) to there own map. Anet had good reasons for it but it has unintentionally caused the big rift in gw (which now causes so many complaints and problems) that has gradually created the PvE Vs PvP war. Although its too late now to really solve this issue, hopefully Gw2 will restore the mixed gameplay.

The lack of "Guild"ness in Guildwars. The Guild system hasn't been touched since the creation of the game it is in desperate need of some modifications. From new abilities, ranks etc to a reduction in Guild hopping. A guild has to pay money to recruit people who then decide to leave 5 minutes later for no good reason, would it not be more sensible for guilds to be able to recruit free and then leavers are required a fee to leave the guild.

The Money problem. Anet has made good progress in solving this issue from the addition of free chests, better drops rates and better quest/mission rewards. However there is still a massive High End weapon sales going on that most players will never be able to get into unless they are willing to farm for hours upon end. A cap on weapon sales is severally needed a req 9 weapon of any skin should be capped to 100k max, a good way around this would be in this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10155452

I agree with the original poster.

These fundamental flaws with the game have ruined my game experience. I've gone over my thoughts on the soul reaping nerf, as its ruined my immersion when roleplaying with my necro.

Additionally, I know that I've felt the harsh mistress that is anti-farming, despite everything.

I know things like the shoddy automated tournament structure and easy-mode pvp skills should be adressed at some point down the road, as they are minor irritations, but these 3 points need fixed, and now, unless Arenanet wants to lose customers.
